In the fall of 2004, Derek "Peace Walker" Youngs and I drove and walked our way across Canada from Vancouver to Prince Edward Island, dipping through the northern States on our return trip. It was a pleasure to get to know my country this way, and I hope eventually to walk the whole distance.
